Okay, you know how OCCASIONALLY I'll mention something here about the manuscript I'm using to hunt down an agent? There's a contest going on, offered by a freelance editor who will give the thing a significant look-see if I win. I figure my odds of winning this are approximately the same as getting one of these agents to pick my query out of their slush pile and decide THAT's the one that glows in the dark for them... so why not enter?
