Summer break has officially arrived. Seventy-two days until I report back to begin 09-10.
I feel like I was on a bit of a break yesterday, even though it was my last day at the SDC. I had one of those moments of distraction that can all too easily catch up to you later on. Luckily this one didn't.
While getting ready that morning, I only shaved the left side of my face.
You literally could have drawn a line down the middle of my head between smooth and stubbly. I had the Today show on TV in my bedroom while I was getting ready, and there must have been some story on that sounded interesting enough to get me to set down the electric razor and go pay a little more attention. And I never picked it back up.
I realized my oversight later in the morning while resting my head in my hands, and noticing a bit more friction on one side. One day of growth isn't all that obvious so I wasn't too concerned, but I sure felt like a tool for the rest of the day. Luckily no one noticed, or if they did they at least had the courtesy to not mention it.
